frequently asked questions
What makes your practice different from others?
This is not weekly talk therapy. This is deep, concentrated healing for those ready to transform their lives, relationships, and patterns without waiting years to get there.
We offer highly personalized, results-driven therapy that blends evidence-based treatment with concierge-level care. Our sessions are longer, deeper, and more integrative- designed for discerning individuals, couples, and families seeking breakthrough change in a private, elevated setting. Most of our clients find us after feeling disillusioned with traditional therapy.
What can I expect in our first session or consultation?
Your journey begins with a comprehensive, 90-minute consultation where we explore your goals, clarify your history, and co-create a plan for change. This is not a checklist intake- it’s a grounded, relational process that sets the tone for meaningful work and allows for personality and curiosity. You don’t need to know where to start- we’ll guide you with clarity and care.
Who is this practice the best fit for?
We are a best fit for high-functioning, reflective individuals, families and couples who are ready to invest deeply in their emotional growth. Many of our clients are professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, or couples navigating burnout, betrayal, grief, trauma, disconnection, or major life transitions. Many of our clients grew up and learned to thrive in chaos or conflict and are finally ready to sort through the fallout. They're seeking more than symptom relief- they want transformation.
What types of clients do you work with?
We work with clients who are:
Burned out, over-achieving, or emotionally shut down
Navigating high-pressure roles, divorce, or complex grief
Coping with family trauma, codependency, or attachment wounds
Using substances, perfectionism, or busyness to escape emotional pain
Seeking healing after betrayal, high-conflict relationships, or childhood neglect
Many have tried traditional therapy and are ready for something deeper, more impactful, and tailored to who they are now.
What are your fees?
Therapy is a meaningful investment. We offer transparent, flexible pricing based on your goals and needs.
Standard therapy (individual, couple, family): $250–$300/hour
Initial evaluations (90 minutes): $375–$450
Custom intensives & retreats: Pricing varies; sample packages available upon request
Concierge services: Custom financial agreements for in-home, travel, or VIP care
Payment plans and reduced-fee slots may be available- especially for first responders, healthcare workers, military personnel, and survivors of the troubled-teen industry. Payment plans to increase accessibility for full courses of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy are available. Open discussions about finances are welcomed and encouraged.
Do you accept insurance?
We are an out-of-network provider and do not contract with insurance companies. We believe that allowing insurance companies to define what constitutes “medically necessary” treatment, how long sessions should last, or which services are "billable" undermines our ability to serve you fully and ethically. This boundary is intentional and rooted in one of our core values: to provide exceptional, individualized, cutting edge, and confidential care that truly meets your needs- not just what is reimbursable.
This allows us to offer:
In-depth, individualized care
Extended session formats for deep transformation
Flexible, cutting-edge treatment options
Complete privacy and control over your therapeutic path
We’re happy to provide superbills for reimbursement and accept HSA/FSA payments.
If finances are a concern, let’s talk.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. We provide HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy for clients in states where we are licensed. This includes remote prep/integration support for intensives and virtual check-ins between in-person sessions or retreats.
Can you accommodate unusual scheduling, high-stakes confidentiality, travel, or location needs?
Absolutely. We specialize in concierge therapy for clients with demanding schedules or high-profile lives. We offer:
In-home sessions
Flexible scheduling across time zones
Creative solutions for high-visibility or public-facing crises
What are therapy intensives?
Therapy intensives are extended sessions (3–6 hours or multi-day formats) designed for deep healing and accelerated transformation. They are ideal for:
Clients stuck in talk therapy
Couples facing urgent relational breakdowns
People in major transitions or emotional crisis
Individuals preparing for or integrating psychedelic experiences
What happens during a therapy retreat or private intensive?
Retreats and intensives are custom-designed therapeutic immersions held in our clinical offices, your home, or luxury locations in Colorado, Connecticut, or elsewhere upon request. They may include:
Intensive therapy with a lead clinician
Somatic and experiential work
Integration coaching
Wellness practices like yoga, massage, or breathwork
Optional psychedelic-assisted sessions (where legally permitted)
Each retreat is tailored to your goals, emotional history, and healing needs.
Do you offer psychedelic-assisted therapy?
Yes. We offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in CT, CO, and FL in partnership with licensed prescribers. We also support psilocybin-assisted integration where legally permitted (e.g., Colorado).
These sessions are deeply somatic, emotionally guided, and held in a safe, ethically grounded clinical container. You’ll be supported throughout the process- from preparation, through dosing, to integration.
What does a ketamine session feel like?
Ketamine sessions are guided, introspective journeys. You’ll lie back with optional eye shades and music, with your therapist gently inviting you to explore new experiences as they arise. Many clients describe feelings of:
Emotional openness
Detachment from rigid thought patterns
Connection to deeper or dissociated parts of themselves
Relief from psychological stuckness
Your therapist is present the entire time- guiding, grounding, and helping you process what arises.
